Referring to the EDIE team
For many young people these experiences are short-lived. They are often a reaction to stress and will stop without any help or intervention by mental health services. However, for about 1 in 3 people, they may last for a longer period of time and could lead to further, more serious problems.
How to contact EDIE
You can refer yourself to EDIE, or a family member can refer you on your behalf, by calling us on 01782 275098. We also accept referrals from a variety of health professionals such as your GP and other individuals such as from school or university.
Once we have received your referral, you will be contacted by someone from the team. We aim to contact you within 7 days. If you have not heard from us after this time, please do contact us and ask to speak to the duty EDIE worker.
